Greenfun Foundation is non- profit organization which stands for Greenfun means Green fine universal nature. founded & registered in April 2021 under presidentship of Young Envirnmental Enthushiasist Mr. Hanmant Dadas
who is Young Dynamic Multi talented man works on targets to achieve successful desired results. this non- profit started by making its Base in Satelite City Navi Mumbai which will work in various branches of human upliftement mainly focused on environment through Social Welfare activities. Greenfun stands for change. Change is transformation from negative to positive. In today’s fast changing world, certain Section of society is doing good, reaching new heights and enjoying a good future. Ironically, there is increasing gap and inequality among rich, poor and differently abled persons.
There is clear distinction between the lives of abled and differently abled, rich and poor. More and more people are dying from hunger and malnutrition, at the same time rich using the fruits in their shampoos.
This paradox is evident not only between rural and urban population but it also exist within the urban communities also. On one side there are high rise towers coming in Mumbai and on the other hand we see dilapidated slums with inhuman living conditions. The slums are devoid of opportunities of coming out of poverty line and live a dignified life. Sanitation, hygiene and basic primary health care facilities are in shamble. Children do not get proper higher education and end up in doing mediocre jobs. Women & Differently abled persons do not have proper dignity and access to health and education facilities. There is lack of new job opportunities and skills training required for the same
Greenfun foundation in its capacity making efforts to reach out to this underserved section of the society. It envisages that each person should be able to live the dignified life. Greenfun foundation addresses the issues of education, health, and livelihood through it multi-pronged approach of community empowerment and rights based approach. It target to achieve this through research which is action oriented and also do advocacy at various levels to bring a desirable changes in people’s life.
It is working in the education, skilling, environment and livelihood for Differently Abled Persons, Women Empowerment field since last few years. It has started its projects and operations in Mumbai and Pune extended its reach to rural and tribal areas throughout Maharashtra.
